2. Fully Funded PhD Programs in Information Systems with Focus on the Impact of Generative AI on Organizational Dynamics and Work Environment
Summary of PhD Project
This research will address two main objectives: exploring micro-level changes in work environments and examining the theoretical and practical implications of generative AI on organizational dynamics within software development companies. The research requires an understanding of software development and the use of generative AI in that context—for example, source code models from Hugging Face and frameworks such as LangChain or Ollama.

5. Fully Funded PhD Programs in Medical Science – Stem cell-based models of childhood leukemia
Summary of PhD Project
Human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) represent a promising tool to model embryonic development. Genetic reprogramming of adult cell types (e.g. skin fibroblasts) allows the production of patient-specific induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells to dissect the role of both congenital and somatic mutations on developmental disorders and malignancies. Half of all childhood cancers have a suspected prenatal origin, limiting access to the cancer-initiating developmental progenitor. Human PSCs-based in vitro models of embryonic hematopoiesis represent a promising tool to dissect the molecular mechanisms of malignant transformation taking place in prenatal cell populations.
