The Department of Prevention and Community Health at George Washington University’s (GWU) Milken Institute School of Public Health invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow in the area of adolescent sexual health. The Parents and Adolescents Talking about Healthy Sexuality (PATHS) study is a randomized controlled trial (RCT) of a parent-focused HIV prevention intervention designed to reduce HIV risk and improve sexual health outcomes among sexual minority adolescent boys. For the trial, we have collected data from 350 parent-teen dyads who are assessed every three months over the course of a year.

2. Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Summary of Postdoc Project
We are currently accepting applications for two positions with appointments to begin between January and June 2025. The positions are temporary research training positions, to last for a minimum of 2 years, in which the fellow plays a substantive role in planning and conducting research by designing and conducting studies in an area relevant to primary care. In collaboration with faculty mentors, the fellow will participate in the planning of independent research, will analyze and interpret data, will disseminate results, will represent the university at conferences and scientific meetings, and may develop new theories and methodologies.
